Chas's Review:Nalini Singh has a knack for creating a fiction world with substance. The setting, situations and characters alike are easy to visualize and absolutely addicting to read.
I skipped ahead to read Hawke and Sienna's story in this installment of Kiss of Snow and I am glad I did..... I absolutely loved it! Hawke is a shifter and has been an Alpha since his young teen years. After his pack experienced a devastating blow by the Psys, Hawke was the one leading the Pack to pick up the pieces and restrengthen themselves. Hawke possesses a dominating alpha personality with his inner beast close to the surface but it's apart of his character and Nalini does a dynamite job with writing him.
In this Psy-Changeling world, Shifters mate for life but what happens when Hawke's would-be mate died when they were kids? Good question because Sienna would like to know that as well.
Sienna is a young woman who grew up in the Psy Net. She is the most dangerous person walking the earth, a human explosive with no idea how to contain her power. Sienna even scares herself. So none other than Hawke is really equipped to take on Sienna but it's not just the danger that he needs to face but the attraction brewing between the two. Sienna's character is written perfectly. She possesses strength needed to stand next to an Alpha and due to her special treatment/training in the Psy Net, she is mature in mental, physical and tactical matters. With romance brewing and war on the horizon Hawke and Sienna are the perfect couple.
