Kate @ The Neverending Shelf had issued National Library Week challenge and I thought there would be no better way then to celebrate our libraries then to participate.
I had written two postings:
The challenge was that for every comment I would donate a 1/4th of a book to my library.
I decided to keep Kate's guidelines. I was planning to donate money
to compensate if I did not have enough books.
Between the 2 postings I had only 4 comments.
A big thanks to Melissa, Paper Cut Reviewer, melissa @ 1lbr (plus she won a prize-CONGRATS),
and Audrey for contributing comments.
Here is the books I cleaned off of my shelf (making room for more):
There is more then 1 book.... but this challenge really helped me to clean out all
the books I dont need hanging around anymore-esp since some of these were duplicates or books I have not read in a long time.

Great amount of books! Those are some wanted books too! Your library must love you. :)
hehhehehe, I bet they do.
I went to drop of the lot of books to a guy name Ron. He is the main volunteer there. He does such a great job.
He told me today... "OOoo you got some trashy novels there." Meant as a complement. I guess he's referring the vamp ones!
Trashy is ALWAYS a compliment. ;)
Btw, finally got the button up. I am trying to find the best way to display buttons for others myself. Thanks for the push to put it up there. :)
Very nice, your library is probably worshiping you by now. Trust me, there happy to get trash! ^_-
That's so good of you. I'm to greedy to give up any of my books.
hehehe... I am greedy too Shera! I needed space on my shelves for more and a few (shamefully) I admit were doubles!
